Protec Petroleum is committed to providing a safe working environment for its staff and the public.

We have developed an extensive health and safety program which continues to evolve.  We are a member in good standing of ISNET

World. Or technicians have attended API training, P.O.S.T Training, first aid training, confined space entry training, and safe driver training, as well as attending training seminars from Weyerhaeuser, Cormode & Dixon, Chevron,

Ledcor, Imperial Oil, Suncor and National Energy.

We have the following safety products at our locations:

• Fresh Air Blowers
• Hydrocarbon sniffer
• Safety ladder with top rail (aluminum)
• VHF radios

The following safety products are carried in each of our service vans:

• First aid kit
• Safety glasses
• Ear plugs
• Job appropriate gloves (leather/nitrile)
• Hard hat
• Safety vest
• FR coveralls
• 36” traffic cones with flags or 42” Deliniators
• Respirator mask
• 20lb fire extinguisher
• Fall protection harness and lanyard
• Caution tape
• Spill kit with extra absorbent towels
